Museum Malacca Sultanate Palace

The museum was built in 1984 and was inaugurated on 17.7.1986 by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. The work is based on the description of the historic of the palace of Sultan Mansur Shah who ruled Malacca from 1458 to 1477. The aim of the museum is to introduce the history of the region.

Cheng Hoon Teng temple is the oldest Chinese relic in Malacca, was built in the 1600s, is located in the city of Jonker Walk. Cheng Hoon Teng interspersed with temples as mosques, Hindu temples, the church of God. This ancient temple has been recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage in 2002. Christ Church

The church was built in the first century 18 (1741 – 1753) under the Dutch architecture after taking Malacca from the Portuguese hands. Initially, the church was painted white until the early 1900s, the church was painted red.
