Phá lấu is another popular Saigon street food and a perfect choice for rainy days. Local people say that Phá lấu may not impress you at the first bite but the more you eat, the more addicted you are. Main ingredients to make Phá Lấu include pig or cow innards which are well cooked with herbs and seasoning. It seems a bit like curry but not that spicy. Phá lấu soup can be eaten with breads or noodles, both go well. Besides, don’t worry about whether the organs would smell too strong. The three most popular hủ tíu restaurants in Saigon are Hủ tíu Nam Vang Thành Đạt (Cô Đốc Str, Ward 1), Hủ tíu Thanh Xuân (Tôn THất THiệp Str, Ward 1) and Hủ tíu Nam Vang Nhân Quán (Âu Cơ Str, Ward 11).
