Ernest Zacharevic artists have inspired the heroic past of Ipoh to paint graffiti on walls around the city. He began this work in 2014 with a project called Art of the Old Town, he tell the history of ipoh via the painting on the walls. Coffee bags, man enjoy coffee … is one of the content of the paintings. There are many styles paintings drawn in 3D and you can enjoy them while passing Jahan Market, Jalan Tun Sambathan and Jalan Padang. Beside Zacharevic, street art here is also quite interesting because of the various changes by time of year.

Coffee Art has been famous in Ipoh since the past. Kopi putih – Unique white coffees of the city is made according to a special formula. The original formula of this coffee is told to be invent from Sin Yoon Loong – a place professionally serving coffee for years. To enjoy this unique drinks, you should go to Lim Ko Pi – a restaurant that sells coffee with a mission to preserve traditional craft of Ipoh. This shop is located in an old building built in the 1920s.

The oldest religious architectural construction

Suburbs of Ipoh is where the focus of religious architectural constructions which have lifetime age up to several centuries. These constructions contain the art works, mainly carve on limestone cliffs, and the most famous probably be  the Sam Poh Tong- a cave used as the hermitage of the monks in the 1890s and became a complex temple. Solemn atmosphere in this sacred place remained intact after hundreds of years with a statue of Buddha guarding at the entrance and the candles are lit along the cave.
