At Independence Square there is Victorian fountain built in 1897.
Second day – Shopping and eating from Jalan TAR to KLCC, through Chinatown and Bukit Bintang: Start the day with a visit to Jalan TAR (Tuanku Abdul Rahman), which used to be the leading shopping destination before appearing the modern shopping centre. Today, this is still a commercial area which full of shops and fabric of Indian Malays. Taste some food at the Coliseum Café or Capital Café.
Do not forget to visit Masjid Jamek, one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, and to the Central Market Annexe and Kasturi to shop. Stroll through the streets of Chinatown, a neighborhood center of Kuala Lumpur is also an interesting experience.
