A week in Bali may be not enough to explore all, but if there is a consistent schedule, you can still feel satisfied with even in one day.

If you only have a day in Bali (Indonesia), there are some places and some certain things you can not ignore. Get ready for 24 hours and make sure you have enough time to enjoy the sunshine, blue sea, white sand, tropical forests, numerous Hindu temples, waterfalls and many other wonderful things.

To prepare for the trip, make arrangements in advance with the driver or a local tour guide. Bali wide and the way is difficult. If only one day, you will not have enough time to discover everything by yourself.

Remember to bring local currencies, the Indonesian rupiah because there are not many place that you can exchange money.

The first destination: Pura Luhur Batukaru (time visit: 1 hour)

The second point: Terraced fields Jatiluwih (approximately 1 hour)

Terraced fields have been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a great place to enjoy nature with widening views, totally relaxing. You will have to take pictures continuously when being here. Remember to ask your tourist guide about “Subak” – a traditionally agricultural method of local people.

Have lunch at Asia J Terrace restaurant (1-2 hours).

Take a Balinese-style lunch here, eating and sightseeing. You should order “nasi goreng” (fried rice) or “nasi campur” (mixed rice).

Third Destination: Pasar Merta Sari Market (about 1 hour)

Local markets sell plenty kind of fruits, spices, vegetables, orchids … grown by the locals. This is a great place to get souvenirs unique. Buy a bunch of bananas for the monkeys, you will certainly see and want to feed them on the way back!

Forth destination: Getfit Waterfall (about 1 to 2 hours)

Also known as Twin Falls, located near the main road Gitgit and take you only 15 minutes walk. This is a great place for you to enjoy the “cool” water in the hot days. A tour guide will show you all about flowers and fauna along the way. Remember to bring clothes to change if you intend to swim here.

Fifth destination: Ulun Danu (1 hour)

Ulun Danu Temple located at the Bratan Bratan lakeside, in the high mountains, the climate is very pleasant. This temple is one of the favorite tourism destination to many visitors, so if too many people taking pictures, you do not need to feel uncomfortable. And do not forget to spend time taking around the surrounding area, by the lake and outside the main temple, there are many interesting things that you can explore.

Sixth destination: Tanah Lot temple (1-2 hours)

Tanah Lot is the image that you would find in any leaflets about Bali travel. Tanah Lot includes 6 temples around, considered as the gods protecting Bali from evil. You will have the opportunity to join in the crowd of local people to receive blessings. Let’s calculate the time to come here at low tide you can walk to the temple. Do not forget to bring a camera because this is one of the places photographed the most amazing sunset.

 Have dinner at Melasti seafood restaurant (1 hour)

Although this is not the famous restaurant in Bali but you will be able to have an ideal spot to watch the sunset. That would be the perfect ending for your day this lovely island. The restaurant is located near Tanah Lot temple.
