Travel to Son Tra Mountain

Son Tra Mountain translates as Monkey Mountain in English and this is part of a spectacular national park in Da Nang that is located at around 700 meters above sea level. The mountain is so named as it is the home of a rare species of monkey called the red face monkey. This area is also called the Son Tra Peninsula and no matter where you stand in Da Nang, you can still see this mountain. To the left, you can see the Cu Lao Cham island, while looking to the right, you’ll see Hai Van mountain along with the romantic and dreamy Han river. The perfect location of the Son Tra peninsula makes it feel like where the sea and mountains meet the sky. For tourists that are looking for a feeling of tranquility and breathtaking views from a high angle, Linh Ung Pagoda (Linh Ung – Bai But) should be the top priority when visiting Da Nang.
