Full Day Phong Nha Cave Exploration From Hue

What to Expect

Phong Nha Cave is a part of the caves system in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National park, Vietnam. Moreover, it is one of the most gorgeous and worthwhile caves to explore when traveling to Quang Binh Province. Depart from Hue for 3 hours to Phong Nha Cave. On the way, you will stop to visit some of the most famous battle-field in the Vietnam War, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, lying in the Demilitarized Zone of the Vietnam War. Have lunch at a local restaurant then get on a boat and cruise along the river to Phong Nha Cave. The deeper one penetrates, the more magical are the natural aspects of the caves. After on boat for 700m, a large dry passage appears, then you can walk to discover the cave for 500m more. You will have a chance to explore the remain of Cham Altars and Inscriptions inside.

• Phong Nha Cave In One Day From Hue

  06:30 – 7:00: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hue city and depart to Phong Nha National Park, classified as a World heritage site.
  On the way, you will stop to visit La Vang holy land - a national shrine located in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri Province, an important place of pilgrimage for Catholics in Vietnam. You will also have a chance to stop at Hien Luong Bridge, and Ben Hai river for taking photos.
  Around 12PM, we reach the Phong Nha National Park area and have lunch at a local restaurant with Vietnamese dishes.
  13:00: We continue the journey of Hue to Phong Nha cave tour full day by taking a sampan boat along the Son River through Phong Nha Cave. It is a great experience for you to see the beautiful scenery along both sides of the river.
  After 25 mins on the boat, you will arrive at Phong Nha cave. Take a couple of hours to visit the Phong Nha Cave, which contains many fascinating rock formations given beautiful names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha.
  15:00: We will get on the boat to return to Phong Nha boat Station and get on bus come back Hue.
  19:30 - 20:00: Arrive in Hue and drop you off at the hotel in Hue center. Tour ends.
