What to Expect

Dubbed the “town in the clouds” by the locals, Sapa is a charming treasure of the Northwest region of Vietnam. In Sapa, we will pass by magnificent nature scene and go biking to remote villages where ethnic minorities live to understand their local real life & custom. The biking route is pleasant and it is great to capture wonderful photos of fogs, rice terraces, beautiful scenery and daily residents’ life on the way. Endowed by nature, it’s no wonder that Sapa has become one of the most alluring destinations in the country.

• Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Biking to Cat Cat Village

  7:00 a.m: Limousine bus will pick you up at your hotel and begin a trip to Sapa town – Lao Cai province by limousine car. Along the way, enjoy magnificent natural beauty including the terrain of the mountains and hills, the green of the forest.
  About 13:00 you will reach Sapa, welcome by our local guide in Sapa, check-in hotel and our guide will take you to visit Cat Cat village. Located at the foot of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, 2km from center, Cat Cat village is one of the top names on the list of Sapa attractions.
  It attracts visitors with its natural landscape and the unique and diverse traditional culture of H’Mong ethnic people. You’ll get an excellent opportunity to experience, discover the people’s customs and religious beliefs, and immerse in the gentle dances. There are many things that you can do at the center of Cat Cat village. While some visitors choose to get coffee and enjoy the view, others love wandering around and taking pictures at the steam.

• Day 2 : Sapa – Biking to Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai Village

  In the morning, after having breakfast, our guide will meet you at hotel lobby and start to head out from Sapa by going downhill to the villages. The fisrt ride takes you into one of the most beautiful valleys of the area – Lao Chai village.
  Situated 7 km from center, Lao Chai is quite approachable from Sapa for a travelers who do not have much time. The road is small and narrow, but you will pass green fields of corn and rice. That is worth cycling here.
  Continue cycling about 4 km, you will later arrive Ta Van village. Also located in the valley of Muong Hoa, Ta Van is a village of Giay people. This village is normally a combination in the visit to Lao Chai village on the bicycle ride. Coming to Ta Van, visitors can not only immerse themselves in the picturesque scenery of nature with murmuring streams and birdsong, but also enjoy the peaceful beauty of the village.
  Having luch in local family or local restaurant in Ta Van and take a rest. (pay on your own)
  In the afternoon, from Ta Van you will turn in a dirt trail, which sneaks through rice paddy terraces and villages, you will reach Giang Ta Chai village.
  GiangTa Chai village is home of the Red Dao people. It might not be a well known attraction for tourists but there are so many wonderful scenery that could make hardest hearts melt away. From here, you can enjoy the majestic landscapes before starting your way back to your hotel in the center.

• Day 3: Sapa – Biking to Tram Ton pass – Ta Phin Village

  After having breakfast, our guide will meet you at hotel lobby and start a journey to Tram Ton pass and Ta Phin village. Today, the first destination is Tram Ton pass which is 15km from center. At an altitude of 1900m, this is the highest pass of Vietnam and acts as a divider between two weather fronts.
  The viewpoints here have great views. When you reach the end of Tram Ton Pass, you will finally reach the top of Hoang Lien Son mountain, which is known as Heaven's Gate. If you go there on a clear day, you can even see the beautiful Silver Falls. Moreover, Heaven Gate is the place where you can really see and feel the grandeur and majesty of Fansipan peak, which can be a great motivation for you to conquer this high and majestic mountain. Having lunch at restaurant to refill your energy and prepare for the second route.
  In the afternoon, hop on your bike and head back to Sapa to start your trip toward Ta Phin Village, home of the Black Hmong and Red Dao.
  The path is easy at first but gets harder as you go. As you hit the trails, the road becomes challenging, so remember to exercise caution as you go. After 15 km of cycling, you will see Ta Phin after going downhill in the direction of Lao Cai.
  In Ta Phin Village, there are usually fewer visitors than Ta Van. After visiting Ta Phin Village, you can go to Ta Phin Cave at the foot of the Hoang Lien Son Mountain for a more adventurous experience.
  After visiting, bicycling back to your hotel in the center. Free time at your leisure.

• Day 4: Sapa – Hanoi

  Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
  8.00 am: Limousine bus will pick up your group at hotel then back to Hanoi. Finish your trip, hope you get happy time and interesting experiences & see you in the near future!
